The Cerro Coso Coyote Volleyball team opened up the season Friday night with a 3-0 shut out against the Antelope Valley Mauraders. The Coyotes brought a strong energy into Raymond McCue Gymnasium and demonstrated a polished return to the court. The Coyotes had a strong attack led by aggressive defensive play by Audrey Shull and finished off with strong swinging of Gina Santiago.
