The Cerro Coso Volleyball team is set to open their spring 2021 season tonight at 5:00pm, February 26, in a scrimmage contest against the Antelope Valley Marauders. No in game attendance will be permitted, but the event will be live streamed on the Coso Coyote Athletics YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8QYurGmzOA&feature=youtu.be

Both teams have complied with CCCAA guidance and COVID-19 testing protocol prior to competition. The Coyote Volleyball program is eager to hit the court this spring, as it has been 16 months since their last competition.  The team returns six starters to the lineup in Gina Santiago, Anastasia Ostrom, Isabel Alvarez, Dorotea Koprivica, Evelyn Rosas-Mendoza, and Audrey Shull. Tonight's matchup is sure to be a strong contest, as AVC traditionally fields a very tough team.

The two teams are set to return to action on Saturday at Antelope Valley College. The match is set to begin at 12:00 noon.
