The Cerro Coso Coyote Basketball Team takes on Inland Empire Athletic Conference foe, San Bernardino Valley College Wednesday (1/15/20) at home with a 6:00 pm tip off. The Coyotes have suffered back to back losses for the first time this season as they dropped games to Mount San Jacinto College and Chaffey College, leaving the Coyotes with a 2-2 conference standing. The team is looking to bounce back against SBVC who is a perennially dominate team in their own regard, and a program that advanced to the sweet 16 in the last post season.  The Coyotes look to get back to their winning ways and will need some leadership from impact players. Leadership and tempo from sophomores Jonathan Foster and Isiah Thomas are keys to success along the sharp shooting ability of Jordan Pumphrey and Haven Ousley. The Coyotes have fed off the energy of big plays by Vernon Hardison and Alex Dieudonne which has been missing in the losses. Coach Dugan has been hard at work preparing his team for tonight and recognizes the importance of picking up conference wins at home. The Coyote fan base is sure to enjoy the IEAC home contest tonight. Attendance is free, come howl with pack starting at 6:00 pm.
