The Cerro Coso baseball team held its awards and signing ceremony in the Cerro Coso Gym on Wednesday to honor the Coyotes who were recognized in the conference and those who signed with four-year schools to continue their baseball careers and education. The ceremony was attended by the entire Coyotes baseball team and President Sean Hancock. It began with Cerro Coso Athletic Director John McHenry speaking to all the Coyote baseball players and congratulating them for another strong season that included back-to-back postseason appearances, which is the first time in many years for the program. He then introduced Head Coach Justus Scott who began thanking all his players for the season. He then introduced the seven Coyotes who were named to the All-Conference teams individually and gave their stats that led to their nomination and selection.

After the All-Conference winners had their moment to receive applauses from their teammates, Scott had a few of his players in the crowd stand. He mentioned that those eight players should be joining their teammates who were about to be called and sign their letters of commitment, but do to either NCAA or NAIA rulings the schools could not offer letters of commitment at the moment. But they would receive those letters and continue their careers and education. Scott then called six Coyotes to come up and take a seat so they could sign their letters of commitment to play and attend their new four-year schools. After the now former Coyotes put pen to paper and signed their letters to the cheers of their now former teammates.

The players who signed their letters of commitment were: Clayton Detherage signed with Baker University, Bobby Rosado signed with University of Saint Mary, Jake Riding signed with Fresno State, Jackson Alaniz signed with Ottawa University, Jax Holzem signed with Baker University, and Niles Hesson signed with Northern State University.
