The Coyote Volleyball team (3-5) picked up a win on the road Tuesday night as they played visitor the Porterville Pirates. The Coyotes earned a decisive 3-1 victory over Porterville by scores of 25-21, 25-19, 22-25, 25-21. Coach Young expresses her pleasure with the team's chemistry and their ability to find ways to win. Although they are missing a strong attack at the net, the Coyotes have found ways to hold their opponents off with a stingy defensive approach and capitalizing with service opportunities. The road weary volleyball team travels again on Friday to take on Glendale College before returning to campus for their home opener on September 24.
