The Cerro Coso Softball team returns to action this week as they will host the Moorpark Raiders in a double header at the Coyote Diamond today. The double header will be the third & fourth time that the teams will face off this season. In the previous match up between these two, Moorpark proved to be more than the Coyotes could handle winning by scores of 5-14 and 0-9. Coach Gray reflected his optimism as his players prepared for this week, noting that the previous scores have been a reflection of costly errors and a need for a more aggressive offensive approach at the plate. 

Later this week, the Coyotes have had to cancel their Thursday contest as WHCC reported their inability to play. The Lady Coyotes will return to action on 2/15 at home when they host Santa Barbara City College.
