The Coyote men's basketball team continues their hot start with a convincing win over district rival, Porterville College on Tuesday night. However, the Coyotes have little time to enjoy the victory as they prepare to play host to #11 Moorpark college tonight (12/6/23), tip-off is scheduled for 5pm at Cerro Coso.

Cerro Coso Basketball has received much deserved recognition for their dominant play, as they were recently ranked as the #8 team in the CCCMBCA. This is the highest state ranking ever received by a Cerro Coso athletic program. Here is an exerpt from the release:

8. Cerro Coso (7-0) — Cerro Coso is one of four remaining unbeatens in the state. Shockingly, two are from the Inland Empire Athletic Conference. Cerro Coso's non-conference RPI ranking is even better than Mt. San Jacinto, the other unbeaten in the conference. Cerro Coso has five remaining non-conference games before opening conference play on Dec. 20 against – you guessed it — Mt. San Jacinto. But between now and then, Cerro Coso faces the likes of #11 Moorpark (Dec. 6) and #22 Citrus (Dec. 16).
