Coyote basketball beat Merced for their first Central Valley Conference win of the 2018-2019 season. The Coyotes took an early lead and never looked back to earn the 83-78 win. The game did end up closer than expected as the Coyotes held substantial leads of up to 18 points at times against the Blue Devils, but Coach Dugan and his players will take wins any way they come in the competitive CVC. Cerro Coso packs their bags and head into Fresno City to take on the perennial powerhouse Rams on Saturday.
