The Yote baseball squad takes the series win against the Victor Valley Rams going 2-1 on the week. They outscored the Rams 34-17 on the week, but unfortunately dropped a close one on Thursday's matchup at the Dawg Yard 3-4.

Notable bats in the Yote lineup this week were SO Stephen Landez, SO Jordan Boman, and SO Ariel Rodriguez. Landez went 5-9 (.555) on the week with 3 doubles. Boman continued to be an offensive juggernaut by stealing 4 bags with 1 double and went 6-14 (.429). And Rodriguez continued to hold down the bottom of the lineup going 5-13 (.385) on the week with a double, 5 RBI's, and 2 runs scored.

The Yotes have this week marked in their calendars as they will be facing off against IEAC leaders, the Chaffey Panthers. The Coyotes currently sit in third position in the IEAC standings and a good showing this week against the Panthers could give them the boost they need to shoot for a conference title. They will defend the Dawg Yard twice this week on Tuesday 3/25, and Saturday 3/29, both games being at 2:30 PM. We hope to see the Yote faithful and their support this week!
