Cerro Coso Baseball Keeps Rolling

The Cerro Coso baseball team moves its record to 12-2, its best start in program history, with a 3 game sweep over Antelope Valley College last week. That sweep concluded with dominant wins in the Saturday double header, resting on the shoulders of starting pitchers Tyson Banks (game 1) and Cole Martin (game 2). Banks was able to throw 7 innings going for the complete game victory, and Martin went deep into the game only allowing a single run scored in the first. The Coyotes are regrouping early this week in preparation to go on the road Thursday to face Fullerton College, and return home to play Santa Barbara City College on Saturday in an added game to the schedule.
