The Cerro Coso baseball team was on the wrong end of their home opener, losing 7-2 to Ventura College. The Coyotes were never really able to get any offensive production throughout the day aside from a 2 run home run hit by second baseman, Tyler Stokes. The Coyotes are anxious to hit the field and rebound from the loss, but due to weather complications they will have to wait as Monday's game against Victor Valley is rescheduled (TBD). If the VVC game is not able to be played during this week, the next scheduled contest for the boys in blue will be a home double header (2 seven inning games) against Imperial Valley on Friday starting at 12:00.
