The Cerro Coso Coyote Volleyball team beat Victor Valley College handily Wednesday night 3-0. The Coyotes were away earlier this week capturing an ever valuable IEAC road win by scores of, 25-16, 25-17, 25-12. In the match the team was lead by Dahlia Stucky (7 kills, .429, 17 digs), Audrey Shull (25 digs), and Isabel Alvarez (12 A, 13 digs). With the win, the Coyotes move to 9-14 overall, and 4-4 in conference.

On Friday night, the Lady Coyotes are set to take on College of Desert who hold the number one position in Inland Empire Athletic Conference standings with an overall record of 14-8, and IEAC record of 7-1. The previous match between these two teams was a battle, but ultimately COD took it in the fourth set. Coach Young and her team are prepped for the late season challenge as they remain in the fourth place conference standing with hopes of winning out the last two games and improving their final standing.

Friday's game also marks Sophomore Night, the final home game of the season. Before the contest, the Coyotes will honor their three sophomores Dahlia Stucky, Kasey Furnish, and Ellie Schmidlin (medical redshirt). The program is honored to have these women represent the college over the past two seasons as they have Made Their Mark!
