The Cerro Coso Coyote Volleyball team sets up to take on Mt. San Jacinto College at home this Wednesday at 5:00 pm. The match up will feature two Inland Empire Athletic Conference teams both positioned to make run to finish in the top half of the conference standings. Coming into the match the MSJC holds the 3rd place standing with a 3-1 conference record and 8-9 overall, while the Coyotes enter the evening with a 2-2 conference record and 7-12 overall.

Coach Young has credited timely offense and a well put together defense for the successes the team has experienced this season. Gina Santiago has stepped up on the outside offering offensive support, while Dahlia Stucky has been able to be an anchor for the Coyotes in the middle of the court as setter. Other bright spots for the team include the solid play of Dorotea Koprivica and exceptional serving runs by freshman Berenice Gutierrez. The Coyotes look to even the conference standings after tonight's contest with a rebound from a tough loss last week to College of the Desert, as they prepare a focused attack against MSJC.
