The Cerro Coso Volleyball team had a big win at home this Wednesday against CVC foe West Hills College. The Falcons entered the match coming off a strong showing against #1 Merced and sweep over Taft, which meant the Coyotes must bring their top game to this match. And bring it they did. The Coyotes were relentless over the Falcons as they took a three game sweep by scores of 25-20, 25-26, and 25-11. Cerro Coso was sharp with a high energy offense and minimizing damage on defense. Coach Young was impressed her squad's performance in the contest, noting that she can see the team coming together as they improve their play over the course of the season. The Coyotes will be back at work for a quick turn around this week as they head north to take on a perennial CVC power at Columbia College this Friday.
