The Cerro Coso Coyotes beat Chaffey Panthers, 5-1 in a rematch from last Tuesday's game. The previous match up resulted in a Coyote loss, but they got the final say after the most recent contest. Pitcher, Diego Delgado (2-0, 2.81ERA) gutted out a fantastic performance, as he pitched eight strong innings, striking out 12, and allowing only one unearned run. Offensively the Coyotes were lead by Corey Young's (.424) 3-4 day, followed respectively by Bryce Beauchamp (.242), Marcial Hernandez (.458), and Solomon Maddox (.435), all of whom had multiple hit days. The Coyotes will return to the road for an away double header at Imperial Valley on Thursday.
