The Coyote Softball team opened up to a slow start for the 2018 season as they dropped four games at the Glendale, Dave Wilder Tournament (vs. Ventura 10-2, San Bernardino 11-0, Mt. San Jacinto 12-3, San Diego Mesa 13-1). The Coyotes come into this season with only 1 returning player, Victoria Placencia. As the lone returning player, Placencia is the only Coyote that is seasoned with collegiate playing experience. The Coyotes are sure to grow after their 2018 debut this past weekend as this young squad is adjusting to the pace of college softball. The Coyotes will apply the lessons learned from the past weekend into practice this week in preparation to hit the road this Friday as they head to Barstow College for a double header at 11:00 and 1:00.
