Head Coach, Chris Dugan has pushed his team to a quick 4-1 start against a formidable schedule earning the Coyote Basketball program some much deserved recognition. The CCCMBCA coaches poll has ranked Cerro Coso at #25 in the state with their sole loss coming at the hands of #1 Fullerton College. Although much work is to be done in this early season, the Coyotes have made noise across the CCCAA basketball landscape and have proven that they are not to be taken lightly in a march towards the postseason.

Cerro Coso showed another strong performance against Cypress College this past Saturday earning 81-68 win. Even though the final score reflects a dominating victory, the game was never out of reach for a strong Cypress team. Zarius Benson-Moore showed up ready to play, and lead the Coyote charge by lighting up the scoreboard with a 25 point night, 21 of those points coming from 7 three pointers made.

The Coyotes will be back in action at home this Saturday (Nov. 20 at 5:00pm) and will need to come ready to play as they take on rival Bakersfield College. The Coyotes will be out for redemption after losing two very close contests against the Renegades last season.   #makeyourmark
