The Coyote Basketball team win's big at home as they hammer West Hills 89-68. Although the Falcons were able to keep the contest close for much of the game, they were no match for the persistence of the Coyotes as Cerro Coso pulled away in the second half. The win is attributed to some strong play and defense, lead by the gritty performance of #5 Vernon Hardison. The Coyotes have battled all year, and their commitment to the system implemented by Coach Dugan combined with some on court experience is proving to make a difference in the team's performance. They will be tested with an on the road match up today as they travel to Merced to take on the Blue Devils.
