Coyotes Take a Win on the Road

In blustery conditions, the Coyotes slugged out 27 hits in a road win against Antelope Valley College Thursday afternoon. The heavy winds provided a day that no hit became routine and making for an unpredictable outcome. For the Coyotes, Jose Martinez (2-1, 4.67ERA) dealt 7 1/3 strong innings, giving Cerro Coso enough room to take the 19-12 win. Offensively the Coyotes were lead by a 4-6 day from Caleb Johnson (.278) and a monster homerun by Marcial Hernandez (.512), in total the Coyotes had seven players with a multiple hit day.
