2019 Spring All Conference Selections

Cerro Coso Athletics would like to recognize the achievement of 3 spring sport athletes as they have been selected to the Central Valley All-Conference team. Congratulations go to Briannah Stafford (Softball, 2nd team selection), Tyson Banks (Baseball, 1st team unanimous selection), Tyler Stokes (Baseball, 1st team unanimous selection).

Briannah Stafford- Freshman, P/2B

Stafford was an anchor on the Coyote softball team for the 2019 season. She played an imperative role as a pitcher in the circle and put up impressive offensive numbers. Coach Bennett is excited about the return of Stafford to next season's team and her potential to lead the next group into the future.

Tyson Banks- Sophomore, P/DH

Banks has been a staple in the Coyote baseball lineup for the past two seasons. The Texas native has been a force at the plate during his time at Cerro Coso and was an unwelcome sight to opposing pitchers. Banks will be taking his skill set to the University of Arkansas Little Rock next season.

Tyler Stokes- Sophomore, OF/2B

Stokes is a transfer sophomore to Cerro Coso, but was a welcome addition to the Coyote baseball program for the 2019 spring. His offensive numbers among the best in the state of California and although he is currently unsure where he will play next season, there is no doubt he will make an immediate impact. Stokes brought a spark of life to the line-up and was a versitle member of the team playing around the infield and outfield.
